CMI Mechanical technicians use a portable computerized manifold that integrates with a Palm Pilot handheld, and collects all relevant information about the refrigeration cycle and operating efficiency. The sensors on the technicians manifold collect the liquid line temperature, suction pressure, superheat, subcooling, and other key measurements, and quickly convert the data into an accurate diagnosis of the system faults. The Palm software calculates and displays the real-time energy efficiency of the unit, both before and after the maintenance inspection. The information is captured and stored in the Palm Pilot and is then hot-synced to our web site for further analysis and reporting over the Internet.
